Who I am.
My name is Shan Robertson and currently New Westminster, BC, Canada is where I call home. As the tagline says, I’ve been developing for the web since 2006, when I graduated from Interactive Design at Capilano University.
Aside from work, I play in the band Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, you should check us out if you like rock n’ roll (myspace.com/gentlemenprefer).
Most of the technologies I am proficient in now have been self taught. I found that shortly after I got out of school the techniques and practices I had come to know were obsolete. So, constantly learning new techniques and technologies quickly became part of my freetime.
I love what I do, and I love freelancing because it has allowed me to meet all sorts of people and constantly challenges me in every aspect of development.
